Our client is a well-established manufacturing organization seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join their team in Lawrenceville, GA! This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing while supporting ongoing process improvements and collaboration across HR and Finance functions. The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for processing payroll for a multi-state workforce, analyzing payroll data, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining accurate payroll records.
Responsibilities:
Process payroll accurately and timely for a diverse, multi-state workforce.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
Analyze payroll data and prepare reports to support business and financial decision-making.
Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance teams to improve payroll processes and operational efficiency.
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and payroll-related issues.
Assist with internal and external payroll audits and provide required documentation.
Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity across payroll systems.
Monitor changes in payroll legislation and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to payroll procedures and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
4-7 years of payroll processing and payroll analysis experience required.
Experience managing multi-state payroll operations.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
Experience with payroll software platforms; Paycom experience is preferred but not required.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools preferred.
