This is a crisis group home which is a shortterm, highly supportive residential setting designed for children, teens, or adults who are experiencing an emotional, behavioral, or other crisis. The goal is stabilization not longterm placement so the person can return home or move to a more appropriate setting once the individual has stabilized and a plan is in place. The individuals we support in this setting are often highly behavioral, may be violent at times, display verbal aggression, and may elope. It is imperative that employees following our training, policies, and care plans to support individuals with these unique needs.
Full Time Float Must Have Flexibility to work Mornings, Evenings, Overnights and Every Other Weekend
As a Flex Float Direct Support Professional (DSP), you play a vital role in supporting multiple individuals and programs by providing reliable coverage where it is needed most. The Flex Float DSP position requires open availability and flexibility to support staffing needs across multiple programs. Float DSPs must be available:
Flex Float DSPs will receive their general schedule approximately two weeks in advance to help with planning and preparation. However, because this role provides essential coverage across multiple programs, there may be times when schedule changes, additional coverage needs, or shift adjustments are communicated with limited notice.
