Hoist Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for aHoist Technicianfor a company based in Columbus,MS.Inthisrole, you willhave the opportunity towork with a long-lasting machine and maintenance facility.
Pay Rate
$25.00 to 34.00per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 800 am to 500 pm.
Hoist TechnicianDuties and Responsibilities
• Perform routine safety and operational checks on hoist and crane systems.
•Wind and unwind cables, select loads based on weight/size specifications, and ensure heavy components are placed precisely.
• Diagnose mechanical breakdowns and electrical wiring or motor control issues.
• Inspect and maintainfuel tanks, lubricate equipment, and apply hand and foot brakes to secure hoists.
• Closely follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
Hoist TechnicianQualificationsandRequirements
•1-2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or heavy equipment maintenance
•Strong mechanical aptitude, good hand eye coordination, and the physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at elevated heights.
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
