As a certified School Psychologist, you’ll provide vital support across three local elementary settings, making a meaningful impact on students, families, and educational teams. This dynamic position begins in August and offers the variety and challenge of serving different school environments while maintaining the stability of a single full-time role.

Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois School Psychologist certification required
  • Possession of a valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged students
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to efficiently travel between multiple district sites
  • Keen interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs
  • Deliver individual and group counseling based on students’ social-emotional goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention plans
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and help guide special education eligibility decisions
  • Provide early intervention support and crisis response as needed within the assigned districts
  • Help foster an inclusive, safe, and positive school climate for all students
