Security Officer - Springfield

Per Mar Security Services is hiring a security officer in Springfield, IL. This officer will be assigned to a retail in-store, observe and report only position.

Hours: Wed.'s 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Thurs/Fri/Sat 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Sun/Mon/Tue off. Pay rate is $20 per hour, 35 hours per week.

Qualifications:

- 18 years-of-age or older.

- Good attention to detail.

- Able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

- Have a valid driver's license and MVR that falls within company policy.

- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

- Current or past PERC holders highly desired, but not required.

Job Duties:

- Serve as a deterrent against thefts and violations of store policy.

- Observe and report security incidents to store management.

NOTE: Upon hire, candidates must agree to travel to Decatur, IL for one half-day for our new hire orientation/training.
