Industrial Sewing Machine Operator - Pattern Cutter

Palmer Hamilton is looking for a skilled Pattern Cutter / Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our Upholstery team. This role involves cutting, sewing, and assembling fabric components for custom furniture while maintaining high standards for quality and craftsmanship.

Job Duties Include:

• Cut, pattern, and sew upholstery fabrics for custom furniture
• Operate industrial sewing machines and cutting equipment
• Follow patterns, measurements, and production specifications
• Inspect finished pieces and complete rework when needed
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area
• Perform basic equipment cleaning and troubleshooting
• Work with the team to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:

• Experience with industrial sewing, upholstery, or pattern cutting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accurate measuring skills
• Ability to read patterns and follow work instructions
• Reliable, team-oriented work ethic
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
