  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Identify and communicate quality, tooling, material, or equipment issues.
  • Safely handle and stage raw materials and finished parts weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Maintain accurate production information and keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow PPE, safety, and quality requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Previous press brake setup and operating experience, preferably with CNC-controlled equipment such as TRUMPF press brakes.
  • Ability to independently perform tooling changes, machine setup, program selection, first-piece inspections, production adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, bend drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and setup instructions.
  • Good understanding of shop math, including fractions, decimals, angles and measurements.
  • Comfortable using calipers, protractors, angle gauges, and other measuring tools.

  • Experience in custom, high-mix, or design-to-order metal fabrication is a plus.
  • Able to stand and move throughout most of the shift and lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Willing to work overtime when production requires it.
