We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level Interior Designer with 2–5 years of related experience to join our team. This role is responsible for developing commercial interior design projects from concept through documentation, managing multiple projects with minimal supervision, coordinating with internal and external resources, and supporting junior designers.

The ideal candidate is a confident designer with strong technical, visualization, communication, and project management skills who is interested in continued professional growth and contributing to business development and marketing efforts.

Job Duties Include:

  • Develop B&W layouts, Mini Designs, and preliminary CAD/Revit build-ups accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage multiple projects with minimal guidance and meet project deadlines.
  • Take ownership of Full Design projects, including client intakes and presentations.
  • Develop and interpret construction drawings, documents, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external resources to ensure timely project completion.
  • Create graphics, renderings, and visual presentations that effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Assist with training and reviewing the work of Level I/Jr. Designers.
  • Maintain and update design training materials and software libraries, including 2D and 3D blocks, families, and models.
  • Support business development, marketing, and other firm initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four-year degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 2–5 years of related commercial interior design experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience with InDesign, Illustrator, CET, Twinmotion, Enscape, or 3D Studio Max is a plus.
  • Portfolio demonstrating the ability to conceptualize, design, and execute commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, documents, and specifications.
  • Strong graphic, visualization, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a project workload with minimal supervision.
  • Working toward NCIDQ certification preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40–45 hours per week.
