The Production Supervisor - Weld & Fabrication leads daily welding and fabrication operations to ensure production, quality, safety, and efficiency goals are met. This role supervises production employees, manages scheduling and resources, monitors performance, and drives continuous improvement. The ideal candidate needs strong welding and fabrication experience, proven leadership skills and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing.

Job Duties Include:

  • Lead daily Weld and Fabrication operations to meet production, quality, and safety goals.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop production employees while promoting accountability and teamwork.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow, and resource utilization.
  • Monitor production metrics, labor, quality, and departmental performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain safety standards and support safety training and audits.
  • Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve production issues.
  • Support robotic welding, flat panel, and tube laser operations to maintain productivity and uptime.
  • Maintain accurate production and labor records and communicate departmental goals and updates.

Qualifications:

  • 7–10 years of manufacturing experience in MIG welding and fabrication.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
  • Experience with robotic welding, flat panel, and tube laser equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to read and analyze production data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality.

Work Environment:

This position works primarily on a fast-paced manufacturing floor with exposure to welding, machinery, heat, and noise. PPE is required. Occasional office work is required for meetings, reporting, and administrative responsibilities.
