Assemblers - 1st & 2nd Shifts Available

The Assembler works in Palmer Hamilton’s Trim Department assembling tables and furniture components according to production specifications and quality standards. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, efficiency and safe use of power hand tools.

Job Duties Include:

• Assemble furniture and table components using rivet guns, screw guns, drills, and impact drivers.
• Follow blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions.
• Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Inspect finished products and perform rework as needed.
• Handle and move materials and finished products throughout the department.
• Assist with packaging and labeling for shipment.
• Perform basic tool maintenance and follow all safety and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience using power hand tools is required; manufacturing or furniture assembly experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, instructions, and production documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical & Work Environment:

• Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, repetitive motion and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment and temperature variations. PPE is required.
