MCI is looking for a skilled Control Panel Assembler to accurately assemble electrical control panels ranging from small to large custom units. This role requires someone who can read blueprints and wiring schematics, work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and take pride in producing quality work.
This is a physically demanding position requiring strength, stamina and attention to detail.

Job Duties Include:
- Assemble electrical control panels according to mechanical drawings and wiring schematics.
- Lift and position metal panel enclosures (up to 50 lbs.) onto workstations.
- Install backplates and accurately measure, mark, and punch holes in metal enclosures.
- Cut, measure, route, and secure wiring according to specifications.
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and proper configuration.
- Identify and report design or assembly issues and recommend improvements when appropriate.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, nut drivers, sockets, ratchets, tape measures, squares, and hand jacks.
- Recognize and correctly use various hardware sizes, including bolts, nuts, and washers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all PPE and safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the production team and assist with other duties as needed.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience assembling and wiring electrical control panels is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and assembly drawings.
- Strong measuring skills with the ability to accurately calculate dimensions.
- Basic math skills, including decimals and metric measurements.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to work overtime when needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand for 8-10 hours per shift.
- Frequently bend, reach, pull, and work over large metal enclosures.
- Perform repetitive upper-body movements throughout the workday.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy.
