Job Summary and Qualifications

• Performs therapeutic, diagnostic and supportive respiratory care procedures.
• Provides services, timely and efficiently, at approriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department.
• Evaluates physician orders and clinical data related to respiratory care of patients.
• Assess patients respiratory status, effectiveness of therapy, and recommends modification as needed.
• Performs tasks and duties within their approved scope of service, following established policies and procedures, and in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations/laws.
• Provides advanced clinical expertise and education.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
• Associate Degree
