Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
• 6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 3 years
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they’ll be reporting to.

Required Skills/Experience:
RNs must read EKGs.
Must have IV experience.
Required Credentials:
Candidate is required to pass DYS exam prior to accepting. 2 attempts
• Pass fail Day 1 SIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED. NyICU only has to do Foley catheter insertion. ED does Foley catheter insertion but does port-a-cath insertion instead of central line dressing change. This is for travelers going to St. Joseph main campus &/or St. Joseph Westgate campus.

• Gyn surgeries, pre liver transplant, ESRD, cellulitis, pneumonia, diabetics, DKA
• 1/3 patient turn over per day. High acuity patients.

Special Requests:
• No block scheduling.
• Travel Teams must have their own vehicles.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, Holidays: Work into rotation.
Floating Requirements: Any MedSurg / Tele floor
Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/24/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 2. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
