Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: COPD, post-op joints, diabetic population
Types of Patients on Unit: Geriatric, adult, peds (Does not have to take peds patients)
Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 65 /
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Floating Requirements: Possibility to float to like units
Patient Ratio: Up to 1:8 – With PCA assistance
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Proof of identification required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
