Department/Unit Summary
The Lead House Supervisor provides shift-based nursing leadership by supervising and mentoring staff, managing assignments based on staffing and patient needs, and supporting direct patient care as required. This role assists with clinical problem-solving, coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers, and ensures staff have the resources needed for safe, quality care. Responsibilities include integrating evidence-based practices, addressing patient care concerns, and fostering professional growth. The Lead House Supervisor oversees the House Supervisor schedule, ensures proper training and orientation, and models Lifepoint values in communication and conduct. Additional duties include mentoring in EMR use, supporting performance improvement initiatives, assisting with regulatory compliance, performing chart audits, fulfilling preceptor requirements, and serving as the department's KRONOS timekeeper.

$30,000 sign-on bonus

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
BLS and ACLS certification is required.
PALS/ENPC is required within six months of hire.
One year of experience preferred
