Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:
*Previous Employment Requirements:** Must note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health. If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date
Required Skills/Experience: Must have minimum 1 year recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting, 200+ beds
Required Credentials: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Equipment Used on Unit: AcuDose and other identified inpatient equipment needs.
Unit/Facility Details: 32 bed Census
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: Days – 1/4-5 and Nights 1/5-6
Adult Trauma, Medical and Surgical patients with wide range of medical and surgical needs with Trauma/Orthopedic Trauma and we are certified by TJC for our Hip Fracture Program.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday.
We don’t have a certain time frame that they rotate. They might work 3 weeks days than 3 weeks nights one schedule cycle and the next schedule cycle all days or all nights. All depends on the unit needs.
Floating Requirements: Willing/able to float to any MS unit across 3 locations in Fargo if needed
Medical Surgical Units at Broadway and SMCF.. South University if needed.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
