Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years

Required Credentials: Must pass EKG exam.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Pneumonia, R/o Chest Pain, CHF, COPD, Post-op Hip, Shoulder, TURP, General Sx.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adult & geriatric

Equipment Used on Unit: SCDs, Baxter IV Pumps, GE VC150s

Unit/Facility Details: 31 beds

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekends

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

Proof of identification required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
