Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Required Skills/Experience: Bipap, Cpap, Heated High Flow, Oxygen titration, Moderate Sedation, Telemetry, Medical-Surgical patient care.
Required Credentials: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Equipment Used on Unit: Alaris pumps for IVF, Acudose for medications
Unit/Facility Details: Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 30 med surg beds with capacity to double rooms to a 41 bed unit dependent on COVID volume. We have a med-surg non-covid wing of 10 beds, an 8 bed progressive care non-covid wing (IMC trained), a 10 bed C wing and a 10 bed D wing for non-covid and covid patients dependent on volume and census. Our C/D wing have capacity for double beds to flex up to a 41 bed unit dependent on our COVID volume. IMC travelers would work in both the IMC/MS unit. MS travelers in Med-Surg unit only.
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 1/3 in Pulmonary Acute for IMC RNs 1/4-5 days shifts 1/5-6 night shifts
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday.
Floating Requirements: Yes, Med-Surg float units; travelers are the first to be reassigned to another department
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
