Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 12 months.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

• ADN completion required

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Shift & Scheduling: -Orientation is bi-weekly -Upcoming Start Dates: 9/15, 9/29, 10/13 -Weekend Hours: 12hrs (Every other or Every Third weekend) • Call Requirements: No

Unit Details: Med/Surg Overflow

• Equipment Used on Unit:

Welch Allyn V/S machine, Hoyer Lift w/ weight scale, Abbott Glucometer, Computers on Wheels, TR band, Baxter IV pumps

Required Skills/Experience: EKG interpretation and critical thinking skills is a plus

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, Uncontrolled diabetics, CKD, Post Cardiac Cath care

Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
