Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.
• 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:
There is no shift differential for AM/PM.
Special Requests: No Block Scheduling requests. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Unit Details: Number of Beds - 10
Equipment Used on Unit: Type of equipment – EKG monitors, Nasal canula, VS machines
Required Skills/Experience: IV, respiratory care, Lumbar puncture assistance, assessment skills in Newborn and Pediatrics patients
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Lumbar Punctures, IV’s, Surgical wound care
Floating Requirements: Floating Area(s): Newborn Nursery
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and On call(if any) weekdays, weekends, on call
10 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
