Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.
• 12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Skills checklist must be completed within the last 6 months for Application. Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned Relias exams that must be taken immediately (within 48hrs). If you fail the exam twice, this may result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.
Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
Floating requirements: Float between ECU Medical Center, Beaufort, Edgecombe. Beaufort hospital is about 35 mins from ECU medical center and Edgecombe Hospital is about 40 miins from Ecu medical center They receive an email the day of their shift at around 0400 or 1640. This gives them ample time to adjust which direction they would be driving to. As a ICU RN may float to all the inpatient units of skill level and below ICU - 1:2 Intermediate 1:4-5 General 1:5-7 - possibly 1:5-8 in the community hospitals.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/27/2025, 12/24/2025, 12/25/2025, 12/31/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
