Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 9 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• 3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Must be able to start within 4-5 weeks to apply
Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.
Must have: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients
Patient Ratios : 1:1 Laboring patients 3:1 Couplets
Scheduling requirements: Every 3rd weekend
Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP
Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/ Safety Rounding
Dress Code: (Required uniform) Navy Uniforms
10 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
