Skills & Knowledge Required
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field required
- Demonstrated ability in the practical application of the requirements of 29CFR 1910.119 PSM regulations, ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, ASME B31 series Piping Codes, API 579, ANSI/NB-23 National Board Inspection Code, and 49 CFR (DOT Code).
- Working knowledge of API 510, 570, 572, 574, 576, 580, and 581 codes or recommended practices.
- Must have ability to perform: (1) calculations (2) safety/risk/fitness for service assessments for Fixed Equipment, Relief System and Rotational equipment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills - verbal and written
- Strong presentation skills in technical forums as well as superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Open/creative thinker; is an Ideas generator.
- Self starter, organized and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Self directed and establishes own priorities to meet needs of the multiple organizations and teams
- Ability to effectively manage change and multiple priorities
- Proven track record in problem solving and decision making
- Ability to lead team and manage by influence
- Familiarity with stage gated project process required
Experience:
- 10 years delivering Maintenance and/or Mechanical Integrity Programs related to Fixed Equipment, Relief System and Rotational equipment.
- Experience in Petrochemical and/or Refinery plants required
