We are currently seeking an onboarding specialist out of our Houston, Texas office. Onboarding specialists are responsible for onboarding new clients to our software, training on how to input data into the system, and answering Tier I support questions.

Our specialists manage the new client onboarding queue and ensure all client requests are addressed appropriately. The onboarding process includes analyzing client requirements, developing and managing configuration strategy, ensuring correct setup, training and support for clients


Performance Objectives:

  • Coordinates and executes onboarding related activities for clients
  • Provides the initial outreach, where applicable, which outlines the setup process and where to find training and support resources
  • Manages new client onboarding via email, phone and web-based tools
  • Analyzes client requirements
  • Manages configurations and setups in relevant Oildex applications
  • Trains and support clients on processes; Trains operators/clients on processes as needed
  • Provides onboarding related trainings
  • Provides Tier I phone and email technical expertise on applications
  • Tracks onboarding tasks against a schedule and coordinate with internal staff to ensure goals are met on a timely basis
  • Provides quality and timely responses/actions on-boarding activities
  • Provides quality data entry in OpenInvoice and other required Oildex applications
  • Works with the Client Services Team to understand the business and configuration requirements of the application for each client
  • Works with Development Team, as needed, to resolve issues
  • Responsible for managing workload and communicating any backups as needed
  • Provides ongoing feedback to the onboarding team manager on ways to improve client onboarding success

Competitive Candidate Profile:

  • 1+ year related in service delivery, accounting/finance or IT experience
  • 2+ years Customer Service experience
  • Developing degree in OpenInvoice or related industry applications
  • Proficiency required in PC applications for project management, word processing, spreadsheets and presentations
  • Knowledge of database and internet based software
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware set-up and trouble shooting
