JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Customer Service Specialist will perform customer service and inside sales duties, act as a liaison between customers and manufacturing facilities, and serve as the customer’s primary contact.

 

 

The Customer Service Representative will:

  • Serve as the point of contact for the full customer order cycle including inquiries, order status updates, product availability, specifications & invoicing.
  • Needs to demonstrate solid problem solving skills when issues arise. Handling challenges in a professional matter is critical in assuring our customers’ satisfaction.
  • Needs to work closely together with our Supply Chain Team & Sales Teams.
  • Assist their assigned Sales Managers in processing Request for Quotes (RFQ’s) and Sample Requests.
  • Review the accuracy of each RFQ and submit for quotation.
  • Work on special projects as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

 

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of continuous Customer Service.
  • Previous FIBC – bulk bags experience a definite plus.
  • Must possess a great sense of humor, team-spirit, attention to details and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Must possess analytical and problem solving skills, be self-motivated and manage multiple and shifting priorities while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a proven track record of building positive business relationships with both internal and external customers and possess the ability to provide complete and timely follow-through on all issues and requests.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook & Word. Comfortable with using ERP system.
  • Salesforce.com experience preferred.
  • Bi-lingual English-Spanish a plus.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Demonstrated skills in both verbal and written communications.
  • Excellent skills in math.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and effectively work independently.
  • Must also have the ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team.
  • Advanced knowledge of computers and related software.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive rapport with customers.
