JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Management Development Program at McCoy’s prepares qualified candidates to function as Retail Assistant Store Managers. Successful candidate(s) will be hired and assigned to a local home store , or relocated to a store with a current Assistant Manager opening, prior to the start of the training program. Candidates who are hired who do not currently live in a McCoy’s market will be offered relocation assistance.

 

McCoy’s Building Supply, a fourth-generation, family-owned retailer of building supplies, is now accepting online applications for Management Trainees for our Management Development Program, slated to begin in October 2018.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Successful candidates should:

  • Have proactive leadership skills and experience, including prior retail supervisory or management  experience.
  • Be at least 23 years of age and be able to meet McCoy’s driver eligibility requirements.
  • Be able to participate in the Program training schedule, which is approximately 9 weeks long, primarily in San Marcos TX.
  • Be able to relocate within the company’s markets subject to their geographical preferences.
  • Candidates who have prior experience and/or working knowledge of the building materials or home building industries are preferred, but not required.
