- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and record documentation along with a proficiency in math skills.
- 2+ years of interior and exterior sign installation experience required.
- Must be able to service a wide variety of both interior and exterior electrical signs, lighting fixtures and solutions and custom-designed architectural décor.
- Be experienced as a Lead Crane Operator.
- Experience with light construction and vinyl wraps would be a plus.
- Must have good driving record.
- Proficient with standard measurements.
- Adequate math skills as they relate to the use of various measuring devices such as tape measures, squares, etc.
The employee will regularly be lifting and manipulating of heavy objects up to and approximately 80+ pounds. In this event, it may be necessary to use not only physical power, but to utilize other lifting equipment such as, but not limited to, a dolly, forklift or crane. In the course of the job activity it may be necessary at times to push/pull, climb, stoop, kneel, stand or crawl when it is necessary to load or unload pipe, signs, or other materials, install or repair a new or an existing sign or structure or when preparing a foundation report.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly be working at heights of up to approximately 130 feet or higher when working on rooftops and on sides of high rise buildings. Extreme weather conditions, ranging from summer heat to winter cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
