To perform functions necessary to aid in the installation and repair of all types of signage and support structures. Primary responsibilities include installing all types of interior & exterior signs, including directional and wayfinding, neon, channel letter, electrical, post & panel signs, ADA and more. Installer must focus on safety, quality, and productivity, while representing the company in a very professional and customer-focused manner. Knowledge of installation techniques and some construction and code is a must.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • To assist the lead installer in the installation of signs and various support structures. This includes the drilling and pouring of concrete foundations.
  • Completes all paperwork as required by management such as work orders, material lists, etc.
  • Assists in the loading and unloading of signs, pipe and other related materials.
  • Performs general maintenance on company trucks and equipment. This includes the general appearance both inside and outside of the trucks, as well as general care and security of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Completes all work activities demonstrating attention to high quality, precise and detailed work.
  • Performs necessary housekeeping activities; this includes, but is not limited to, the picking up of all debris that results from installation activities. This includes proper storage of all materials and equipment when they are not in use as well as all other materials which may be offensive or hazardous.
  • Demonstrates professionalism in the work place as well as on all job sites.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in work hours to include availability for overtime hours as required by management.
  • Be physically able to safely and efficiently perform the physical requirements of this position.
  • Attends all necessary meetings and training as required by management.
  • Provides care and security for all company resources.
  • Must be available for extended travel to job sites both in and out of the state.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and record documentation along with a proficiency in math skills relate to the use of various measuring devices such as tape measures, squares, etc.
  • 2+ years of interior and exterior sign installation experience with light construction and vinyl wraps would be a plus.

The employee will regularly be lifting and manipulating of heavy objects up to and approximately 80+ pounds. In this event, it may be necessary to use not only physical power, but to utilize other lifting equipment such as, but not limited to, a dolly, forklift or crane.  In the course of the job activity it may be necessary at times to push/pull, climb, stoop, kneel, stand or crawl when it is necessary to load or unload pipe, signs, or other materials, install or repair a new or an existing sign or structure or when preparing a foundation report. 



While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly be working at heights of up to approximately 130 feet or higher when working on rooftops and on sides of high rise buildings. Extreme weather conditions, ranging from summer heat to winter cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
