Job Summary – Collections Team Manager

This role will design, implement and manage a best-in-class Credit and Collections function. the incumbent develops the infrastructure (people, processes, systems and controls) necessary to manage Entrust Energy’s portfolio of credit lines and receivables in a fast paced, changing environment. The position requires a deep understanding of credit management, revenue cycle administration, pricing, systems and revenue recognition. The incumbent must possess a thorough understanding of enterprise wide systems such as SAP and the ability to effectively implement and use such systems in the revenue cycle process efficiently and well controlled.


• Independent problem solving skills and strategic agility
• Manage and maintain the corporate credit policy
• Manage processes and recovery performance of collection agencies and legal filings associate with balances due.
• Establishes department productivity standards and measures collection activities, work flows, and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and quality
• Ensure Compliance with all regulatory guidelines & laws affecting collection practices
• Assign and delegate collections assignments daily for the Collections team
• Establish guidelines and procedures to increase department efficiency and quality and effectiveness.
• Diffuse sensitive customer situations as required
• Prepare accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management
• Complete staff reviews on a quarterly basis.
• Continually improve the efficiency of processes and systems and respond to changing business conditions.
• Achieve DSO goals.
• Identification, reporting and monitoring of key performance metrics
• Make decisions in a timely manner, balancing a need for action with a need for analysis

• Bachelor Degree in Business or similar from an accredited University.
• Ability to synthesize deep quantitative and qualitative analysis into concise, executive-level communications
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access is required.
• This position requires good written, oral and reading communication skills in order for the incumbent to accurately obtain interpret and transcribe a variety of communications and instructions
• Must be a team leader, and be able to build bench strength and productivity and metric management
• Ability to work and contribute as an effective team player in a fast paced sales environment
Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred
