Memorial Lufkin is a 271-bed acute care facility serving Angelina County and surrounding counties offers an array of medical and surgical services, including the area’s first dedicated heart and stroke care center, an award-winning Cancer Center and the area’s most advanced imaging centers. The hospital also is known for the area’s only comprehensive diabetes, heart and stroke education center. Additional services include orthopedic care, women’s and children’s services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, robotic surgery, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, kidney and diabetes treatment, sleep disorders treatment, and express lab.
Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN in a manner that promotes safety for self, co-workers, patients and family as well as maintaining an environment that exemplifies extraordinary customer relationships with patients, guest and providers.
Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through completion of specific task as well as procedures relating to basic human, mental health and social needs, comfort, safety and emergency measures; ADL, personal care needs; nutrition; fluid and elimination needs.
