Job Description:

Job Location is based in Houston Texas; however responsible for 4 Pearl Hospitality Hotels.

 

The Regional Director of Revenue Management must have a working knowledge and understanding of the Hilton or Marriott Revenue Management System and will be responsible and have Director of Revenue Management responsibilities for the 4 Pearl Hotels. The Regional Director of Revenue Management will be solely responsible for the revenue management, execution and analyzation for various hotel brands.

 

A Pearl Regional Director of Revenue Management reports directly to the Corporate Revenue Manager and is responsible for creating leaders and fostering the Pearl culture within the sales, event management and revenue management departments for Pearl Hospitality. A Pearl Revenue Manager must ignite the human spirit by creating unrivaled hospitality experiences fueled by fun, enthusiasm and compassion that challenge each person to unlock their own potential.

 

The Regional Director of Revenue Management is responsible for the successful operation and administration of the Revenue Management for the hotels which they are assigned. The Regional Director of Revenue Management must drive results through effective training, coaching, leading, motivating, empowering and following through with all the associates who report to them. The Regional Director of Revenue Management must ensure maximization of profitability yielding the highest RevPar possible. The Regional Director of Revenue Management must ensure that our associates, co-workers and our customers are treated with the utmost respect at all times since they are the key to our success.

  • Evaluate and understand how Pearl can impact Revenue Management of compset
  • Communicate thoroughly with Pearl hotels regarding revenue management and strategies
  • Understand rate elasticity, demand and pace
  • Have complete understanding and knowledge of demand generators of Pearl hotels
  • Communicate and guide Pearl sales teams on LNR strategies with regards to layering base business
  • Must be able to conduct daily business with integrity and be ethical at all times
  • Treat guests, associates, vendors and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times
  • Monitor all distribution channels to ensure effective inventory management and pricing strategies
  • Analyze and translate reports to understand future demand forecast and past trends to set strategies
  • Optimize RevPar by analyzing demand and establish effective selling and overselling strategies
  • Optimize mix including group, transient and wholesale segments
  • Facilitate daily/weekly revenue strategy meeting
  • Analyze Rate View for proper price positioning with comparison to market
  • Maintain historical statistical data from all distribution channels
  • Continually monitor all pertinent travel related websites to ensure competitiveness
  • Must have in-depth understanding of tools, spreadsheets and statistical methods for analyzing data
  • Ability to identify relevant data and use it to draw inferences with revenue impact for the hotel
  • Be able to work well under pressure and meet or beat deadlines
  • Capitalize on utilizing brand promotions and marketing
  • Direct coordination of cross-selling, joint marketing initiatives and other brand synergies
  • Provide strategic direction of rate, date and space commitments for group room sales
