Provide hands-on technical operating support of Cameron Pressure Controls equipment andsupporting utility systems within customer facilities during commissioning,start-up, operations, performance testing, and trouble-shooting situations asrequired.

Responsibilities include but notlimited to:


  • Working at rig and well locations performing a limited variety of jobs including installation of surface wellhead systems and BOP Drilling Controls valves,chokes and actuators.
  • Install or repair company and competitor products such as BOP Drilling Controls inaccordance with the original equipment manufacturing standards to minimize customer downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Educate customers onpreventive maintenance and safety regulations and provide general customer service on the phone and in person. Make recommendations to customers concerning company products and services.
  • Be a liaison between, production, and engineering personnel and customers on product and product installation issues including, but not limited to, job procedures, spare parts, and fit and function
  • Prepare reports of services rendered, tools used, or time required, for billing purposes.
  • Maintain and perform safety inspections on equipment and tools.
  • Strives for continuous improvement in worker safety and is dedicated to ensuring that each employee understands, and acts in accordance with, the company's HSE policies.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years Field Service or related experience in the oil & gas industry
  • Minimum 1 year experience in mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical repair
  • Above average computer knowledge; proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
  • Must be able to travel internationally.  This position entails extensive international travel which will require you to travel and work in all areas of the world.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able towork under pressure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for thedepartment.
