BS or MS in Aerodynamic or Mechanical Engineering

- Ability to work with engineers, technicians, suppliers in shop, office, and field environments

- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support bids and proposals. Estimated average annual travel typically less than 5%

- High speed rotating machinery design
- 2D and 3D CAD experience
- Experience with API 613/614/617/670 and related industry and petrochemical standards
- Experience with ASME materials and the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code
- Knowledge of packaged accessory systems (lubrication and seal gas)
- Experience with Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) firms and ability to review detailed specifications and compile offerings including datasheets, scope summaries and deviation lists
- Rotordynamic torsional and lateral analysis experience
- Fluid, magnetic, and gas bearing design or analysis experience
- Centrifugal compressor and expander aerodynamic stage design
- Java, VB, C, C#, Python or similar programming experience
- SAP and MRP system experience
Relocation is available. Potential for remote working locations in Houston or Los Angeles is also available to highly qualified candidates.
