CONTRACT ROLE

Pay rate:  From $50,000.00 per year

 

Provide support in the administration of Human Resources programs, policies, and practices (Compliance, Recruiting, Employment, Training, and Communications). Ensures recruiting practices comply with EEO and ADA guidelines.

 

Sources, screens, and interviews candidates for exempt, non-exempt and hourly. Processes background check and drug screening while following compliance guidelines. Responsible for ensuring the recruiting process is followed.

 

  • Completes company EEO-1 report and maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • Completes VETS-4212 report.
  • Completes company reports and maintains other records to conform with completing the Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Ensure job applicant logs are being kept for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Works with managers and HR to create interview guides for positions.
  • Ensures interview guide and notes are collected for job applicant files.
  • Works with manager and HR to create job descriptions.
  • Creates and maintains advertisements in appropriate publications (Leedo Website, Newspaper, Job Boards, and LinkedIn).
  • Interviews applicants for open positions including exempt, non-exempt, and hourly.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification:

  • Excellent knowledge of recruiting techniques and employment policies and procedures including all applicable EEO and ADA regulations.
  • Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in HRIS system
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail while handling repetitive tasks.
  • Professionalism and confidentiality are required.
  • Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications.
  • Must have excellent time-management skills.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills. Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email/Internet.

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of recruiting and employment experience required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience preferred.
  • SPHR / PHR (preferred)
  • Ability to travel between manufacturing facilities as needed.
  • Experience in managing job boards (Indeed)
  • Experience in passive recruiting using LinkedIn.

 

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Good knowledge of HR and personnel practices and principles, all applicable labor, pay, benefits, and safety laws and regulations.
  • Good knowledge of recruiting techniques and employment policies and procedures, including all applicable EEO and ADA regulations.
