Responsible for servicing and growing assigned customer base while exceeding customer expectations with aggressive urgency. Service Representatives will build the surrounding areas with Account Executives to maximize the growth of Crane Safety.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assists the organization in developing new business opportunities through cold calls and leads.
  • Establishes a line of contact level between the customer and Crane Safety's staff.
  • Maintains contact with customers through sales calls and scheduled service frequency.
  • Develops new and existing skills through educational programs with both Company provided and vendor supported training.
  • Assists in Crane Safety's marketing programs/initiatives.
  • Prospects new clients to initiate the sales process.
  • Observes and benchmarks other Service Representatives and Sales Executives to establish and replicate best practices.
  • Consistently introduces and implements new products and service to assigned accounts.
  • Achieves and Maintains First Aid and CPR Certification and Fire Extinguisher Inspection License.

This position requires the final candidate to successfully pass an E-Verify Check.

  • High School diploma or GED; college degree strongly preferred.
  • Familiar with codes, products attributes, and procedures within the safety industry.
  • Has a general awareness of business, financials, sales, and safety principles.
  • Strong ability to utilize technology to increase the customer's experience with Crane Safety.
  • Adequate skill with Microsoft suite applications to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Maintains a valid driver's license and ability pass a drug and background check.

Service Representatives are regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk and hear. Service Representatives are occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Service Representatives frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
