Position Summary
The Pharmacy Clerk assists patients with prescription drop-offs, retrieving prescriptions, customer inquiries, and the check-out experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides customer service support via phone and to walk-in customers
  • Maintains confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance by protecting the privacy and security of protected health information (PHI)
  • Operates the cash register and process payments
  • Verifies customer information with order details
  • Assists with resolving tracking and payment issues
  • Ensures that all visitors log in and the appropriate person is notified
  • Files paperwork
  • Navigates multiple internal computer systems
  • Assists with restocking supplies

  • Ability to cope with varied levels of workload and multiple tasks
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Position Type
  • Full-time, benefits eligible
  • Monday - Friday shifts available between 7:30 am - 8:00 pm
  • Pharmacy Technician Trainee starts at $13.00/hr
  • Pharmaacy Technician starts at $14.00/hr 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
 Experience and Education 
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate Degree or some college coursework, preferred
  • Customer service experience strongly preferred
  • Basic math skills required
