Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Prioritizes customer requirements by pulling and recording inventory transactions 
  • Assists with the communication, workload, troubleshoot problems, interfaces with other departments to ensure a direction and timeline management of the monthly review of the inventory process 
  • Monitors inventory levels to identify the need for replenishment at or within prescribed levels 
  • Monitors inventory levels, stock-outs; open order quantities that cannot be fulfilled due to items not being in stock 
  • Initiates and prepares, edits, and processes requests to order appropriate supplies, materials, and equipment  
  • Monitors and tracks orders to ensure timely receipt 
  • Receives and confirms the accuracy and condition of the ordered product or service 
  • Documents all receipts, secures packing slips, and matches to original purchase orders 
  • Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received by items ordered; help resolve shipments in error and/or pricing concerns with purchasing 
  • Analyzes the Days Inventory on Hand Report and assists in the Planned Purchases for chemicals and medical components to order 
  • Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from the warehouse; coordinates inventory transfers with related departments 
  • Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items 
  • Recognizes and resolves quantity discrepancies 
  • Works to ensure inventory and warehouse processes are adhered to 
  • Performs cycle counts for inventory accuracy and ensures adequate management inventory 
  • Performs inventory management duties to include receiving, product put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, and other functions according to customer requirements. 
  • Assists in the management of the warehouse inventory including delivery and product replenishment 
  • Utilizes basic systems to support various inventory and chemical management systems 
  • Follows well-defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, Standard Operating Procedures & Work Instructions 
  • Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements 
  • Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs 
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications 
  • Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed 
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management 

Knowledge and Skills
  • Must have a working knowledge of the storeroom operation and an understanding of material requirements to support Maintenance Planning/Scheduling, Purchasing, and Accounting Practices 
  • Proficient in MS Office products, 
  • ERP Oracle or SAP required
  • Knowledge of safety requirements and industry guidelines 
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceuticals/ current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) 
  • Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and thorough 
  • Pays attention to details to a high degree of accuracy 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Solid planning and organization skills 
  • Capacity to work with multiple company managers 
  • Ability to reprioritize activities on a daily and hourly basis if needed 
  • Ability to lift and move inventory items of up to 60 lbs 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications 
  • Proven work experience in a warehouse
  • Minimum 5 years of warehousing, inventory control, and distribution experience 
  • High school diploma or GED. College education preferred but not required 
  • Current forklift license or the ability to obtain one
