Position Summary

The Hormone Pellet Inside Sales Representative will help implement the organization's hormone pellet sales program, expanding our reach to healthcare practitioners and institutions that administer hormone pellet dosage forms. The Inside Sales Representative is dedicated to locating and supporting clients who practice hormone pellet insertion as part of hormone replacement therapies (HRT) in men and women. The Hormone Pellet Inside Sales Representative also carries out planned campaigns designed to provide important information to existing and potential accounts regarding our hormone pellet product line.  This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager and Director of Sales.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Researches, identifies, and develops new leads to enter into CRM software
  • Sources new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and email
  • Maintains call KPI, including introductory and follow up phone calls
  • Provides knowledge of estrogen and testosterone pellets, quality controls, and manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in ancillary HRT products
  • Identifies sales opportunities for hormone pellets and coordinate with Field Specialists to schedule onsite visits as needed
  • Closes potential accounts by setting up an ordering pipeline and acquiring orders
  • Utilizes proven strategies to build relationships with top pellet prescribers
  • Updates each CRM profile with detailed and accurate information
  • Maintains a minimum number of high volume outgoing communications
  • Maintains a high standard of professionalism in their verbal and written communications
  • Follows established sales operating procedures and best practices
  • Executes mass communication campaigns and maintains a follow-up schedule until each lead is contacted
  • Meets all performance expectations and meets or exceeds sales goals

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of hormone replacement therapy (HRT, clinics, and drugs and products prescribed for HRT treatments
  • Knowledge of hormones, gonadotropins, and adjunctive medications that are associated with pellet therapy
  • Understanding the different types of clinics that may utilize hormone pellets
  • Proven track record of working well independently


Experience and Education

  • 1-2 years of experience selling medication, consumables, diagnostics, or labs
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communications
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Genuine interest in pharmaceutical products related to wellness, quality of life, and hormonal therapies
