Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist specializes in executing marketing projects for Empower Pharmacy.
This role will be responsible for completion of marketing tasks and deliverables as assigned by the Marketing Manager, including but not limited to print design, catalog updates, internal and external communications, packaging marketing materials, brand awareness, and creation of customer facing deliverables.  The Marketing Specialist monitors all project timelines, communicates project updates, and ensures projects are delivered on time. In addition, the Marketing Specialist will work as an integral member of the sales and marketing team to assist in lead generation, special projects and event planning.  This position reports to the Marketing Manager with a strong collaboration to all department leaders.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relations and direct communications with all department and leadership team members
  • Ensure marketing projects are delivered as scheduled to best possible quality standards
  • Lead marketing efforts that will enhance sales results through product-specific campaigns and events
  • Apply all company brand standards to any print and digital content
  • Provide graphic design and design updates under direction of Senior Graphic Designer
  • Develop, maintain, and update project files as well as tracking of stages of each project
  • Participate in marketing strategy and market research for consideration in future projects
  • Identify and allocate outside vendors for design, print, and photography as needed
  • Assist the sales department with activities that result in lead generation for territory development
  • Identify and present concepts and ideas for innovative customer-facing campaigns
  • Prepare project timelines and deliver communication regarding progress to department leadership
  • Manage social media presence on several platforms including Google, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Attain project milestones as scheduled and present final materials on-time

Education / Qualifications / Certifications

  • Previous experience in graphic design or related marketing experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office suites
  • Experience with CRM and email automation software (i.e. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communications
  • Genuine interest in pharmaceutical products related to wellness, quality of life, and hormone therapies
