JOB DESCRIPTION:

Create and execute sales and marketing plans to establish new customer business and additional business from existing customers. Partner with outside sales staff in supporting sales efforts and the customer/sales relationship for the company. 

 

Additional duties may include, but are not limited to, travel to Trade Shows, jobs sites, and third-party partner job sites, target project search boards and utilize other resources to discover new sales opportunities. 

 

  • Develop and maintain prospect and customer relationships through direct communication and sales efforts.
    • Make face to face sales calls to develop new/existing territories as designated.
    • Conduct sales and engineering presentations at trade shows and at prospects place of business
    • Develop accounts, including forming alliances and partnering with customers to maximize revenue opportunities
    • Utilize the sales tools available for finding solutions to the prospect / customer needs
    • Record customer contacts and all sales activities into the CRM database
    • Execute sales plans, develop forecasts, tracking systems, marketing programs, and specific initiatives that support sales and marketing plans and maximize profitability of product and/or service sales
    • Promote the utilization of Snap-Tite product specifications for project design by engineers, contractors, and owners.
    • Inspect infrastructure assets to determine appropriate solution and product
    • Visit job sites and conduct on-site installation support
  • Develop and execute marketing plan to find new customers in new geographic areas or select markets as defined by Director of Snap-Tite.
    • Identify new business opportunities utilizing project search services to explore municipal and private projects. Develop and refine ability to review plans (from job boards) and determine viability of leads

    • Record new prospects, customers, and all sales activities into the CRM database
    • Promote the utilization of Snap-Tite product specifications for project design by engineers, contractors, and owners
  • Support third-party sales channel partners through outside sales activities. This will include conducting sales presentations, product and sales training, asset inspections, job site and installation support in conjunction with and in support of sales channel partners.
  • Develop, nurture, and close sales opportunities
    • Making contact with prospects / customers within a designated territory;
      • Conducting sales and engineering presentations
      • Resolving problems and customer issues
    • Demonstrating a high level of understanding of ISCO’s products and services
    • Communicating the value of these products and services to customers and prospects
    • Coordinate all sales efforts, and work as a team with the customer service associate
    • Preparing sales information, market analysis, sales expenses and sales quotes
    • Create and update sales and project Opportunities in CRM database and manage sales pipeline through these Opportunities
  • Complete all post-sale activities by promoting the highest levels of customer service in order to create repeat business and customer/prospect referrals for new business

 

 Manage and monitor trade show activity for the sales group

  •  Manage trade show list in the CRM system and confirm that all scheduled and upcoming trade shows are properly logged and information is recorded. Follow up with sales team to collect all relevant information to assess trade show effectiveness.
  • Confirm trade shows have member contacts recorded in CRM.
  • Develop follow up plans and activities for trade shows with sales team.
  • Attend various trade show as needed and as approved by sales director

 

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business or closely related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the direct customer selling process and techniques including closing sales
  • Skills: Position requires knowledge of features, benefits and use/application of broad range of company products.
