HEPATITIS B VACCINE RESEARCH STUDY

Hepatitis B, transmissible from bodily fluids, causes inflammation of the liver that can lead to liver failure. Since more than 600,000 people die from the illness each year, it ranks as the 10th leading cause in death worldwide**. Research for a Hepatitis B vaccine is crucial now more than ever. This research study evaluates an investigational vaccine that may elicit faster immune response with fewer injections than current vaccines.

40 - 70 years of age and in overall good health
Those who have NOT received the Hepatitis B vaccine before and who
   have NEVER had the Hepatitis B virus
Receive the investigational vaccine series or one of the vaccine series that is already approved for use
Compensation may be available for time and travel

It is not possible to contract Hepatitis B from receiving the vaccine.
