QUALITY ASSURANCE PHARM TECH - RETAIL

JOBSUMMARY: This is a non-supervisory position in which the incumbent under the direct management of the Business Operations Manager and working closely with the 340B coordinator. This person must be able to perform pharmacy technician related job duties in order to understand compliance requirements to effectively audit for third party payer requirements as well as other internal audits. In addition to the primary function of internal audits this person may need to assist the 340B coordinator with 340B audits, cover pharmacy technician shifts when due to callouts/vacations and perform other job related duties assigned.

CERTIFICATIONS: Registeredand certified pharmacy technician license (Maryland)

Prefer certified nationally as pharmacy technician

EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, 340B drug discount program, third party payer audit compliance standards and pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
